QQube and SAP® Crystal Reports

After 30 years, Crystal Reports is STILL the number one report writer in the world for pin point formatted reports, and is especially powerful for creating financial statements.  The latest versions include graphical elements and visualization components as well.

Strengths

• Pin point layout control
• Unlimited formatting and calculation options
• Special grouping mechanisms in the QQube data sets make it easier to reproduce structure for multi-level items like account and customer.
• Access multiple data sources
• Hides the complexity of having to write manual SQL statements
• Huge community to bounce ideas off of.

Disadvantages

• Users want Excel so they can change the information
• If you don’t have Crystal you can’t change the report
• If you are a report writer, it requires an investment and commitment
• Learning curve required

Requirements

The example reports that come in the QQube Configuration Tool are built using Crystal Reports 2011.

You can open up the QQube Crystal Report examples using prior versions beginning with 9.5 - where you will receive an error warning about the compatibility, but you can continue, and then save in your native format.  We do not use any features in our examples that will not work in earlier versions.
